Abstract

Good human resources will encourage companies to progress and develop. In Human Resources there is a workload. The High workload can result in decreased morale, with a decrease in employee morale to stress and the appearance of work stress on employees can reduce performance on employees. One key factor in influencing work stress among employees is work motivation. Motivation factors play an important role in increasing employee job satisfaction and can help in improving employee performance. Highly motivated employees will feel happier and more willing to work for the organization. The achievement of maximum job satisfaction can also be influenced by a good work atmosphere. The work atmosphere is a factor that will drive a strong level of work motivation so that it can produce job satisfaction for employees. The purpose of this study is to determine whether workload has an effect on job satisfaction of contract teaching staff at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. The type of data used in this study is qualitative data and quantitative data, by distributing questionnaires to respondents, while the technical analysis of the data used is: classical assumption test, multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that workload, work motivation, and work atmosphere together have a significant positive effect on job satisfaction of contract education staff at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.
