Abstract

This study has several objectives, namely; analyze the influence of spiritual leadership on organizational commitment; analyze the influence of spiritual leadership on workplace spirituality; analyze the influence of workplace spirituality on organizational commitment; analyze the influence of workplace spirituality in intervening the relationship of spiritual leadership with organizational commitment; analyzed the influence of individual spirituality in moderating the relationship between workplace spirituality and organizational commitment. This study uses a population of all employees of regional drinking water companies in Denpasar, Badung and Tabanan districts as many as 902 people. The number of samples of 200 respondents was carried out purposively. A closed multiple-choice questionnaire was used to collect data in this study. Data collection techniques and data analysis used the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. The results showed that the overall evaluation of the model in terms of R-Square (R2), Q-Square Predictive Relevance (Q2) and Goodness of Fit (GoF) then the model was declared good. The first hypothesis, that spiritual leadership has a significant positive effect on organizational commitment is acceptable. The second hypothesis, which states that spiritual leadership has a positive effect on workplace spirituality, is acceptable. The third hypothesis, which states that workplace spirituality has a positive effect on organizational commitment, is acceptable. The fourth hypothesis states that workplace spirituality is able to intervene the influence of spiritual leadership on organizational commitment is acceptable. The fifth hypothesis shows that individual spirituality has not been able to act as a moderating variable in relation to workplace spirituality and organizational commitment.
